This VR prototype aims to teach individuals how to insert an Laryngeal Mask Airway.

This was a project created for Dr. Zachary Tan of Kilkenny hospital by a team of six third year game design students from Technological University Dublin.

We received a first-class honours mark with this prototype that year.

Our extract and presentation on our prototype were accepted and presented at the Irish Game Based Learning conference (2020).

We presented a presentation on our prototype to the doctors and medical staff of Kilkenny hospital, who were enthusiastic about it after (2020).

Our prototype itself won the Runner Up award in IMIRT’s Best Technical Achievement category (2020).

An Eposter we did on our prototype won the Presidential Poster Award – Best Overall Display Poster and Best Medical/Education Management Poster award from the Irish Paediatric Association (2020).

Another Eposter we did on our prototype was accepted and presented at the Europediatrics conference (2021).

Compatible with Oculus Quest.

Like with any VR game, we advise you that before playing:

Ensure your VR equipment is set up correctly

Stand in line with your motion sensors

Ensure your touch controls are securely fastened

Remain stationary throughout the play.

It should also be stated that if any symptom of VR sickness is felt, such as dizziness, headaches, eye soreness, disorientation, etc, you should immediately remove your VR headset.

With that said we hope you enjoy ;D
